On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, we hosted an interactive session for the students of Year II of Stella Maris (across departments), on Gender, Peace and UNSC Resolution 2250.Through the session we conducted, we looked at the concept of peacebuilding, the idea of how women can be great peacebuilders by drawing on examples from our work, along with a spotlight on the efforts of brilliant women like Leymah Gbowee and Vishaka Dharmadasa, and then dovetailed into the "peace from within to peace beyond" continuum. We had about 700 students participating in the session. Here's what it looked like!
